Slow-Cooker French Dip Sandwiches 2
Ingredients
1 (3-4 lbs.) chuck roast
2 cups beef broth
½ cup soy sauce
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper
1 bay leaf
8 French or sub rolls split in half
Preparation
Place roast in a 3-quart slow cooker. In a medium bowl combine beef broth, soy sauce and spices. Pour over roast. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours or until meat is very tender. Remove meat from broth; place on cutting board, and shred with 2 forks, removing any fat or gristle. Place meat on rolls. Strain broth and pour over meat or pour into bowls for dipping.Â
