Texas Hash

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • ½ cup uncooked rice

  • 1 small onion

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ yellow bell pepper

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 can tomatoes

Preparation

Brown beef, onion, bell pepper. Add chili powder, salt, pepper, rice, and tomatoes. Cover and let simmer 25-30 minutes. May need additional water or beef broth for rice to cook.
