South-of-the-Border Beef Hash

Ingredients
1lb ground beef
1 can [4-4 ½ ounces] chopped green chilies
3 cups frozen potatoes
½ cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
1 ½ cups prepared thick-and-chunky salsa
Preparation
Heat large skillet over medium heat until hot.Â
Add beef and cook 8-10 minutes breaking and crumbling. Stir in potatoes. Cook 5 minutes, stirring. Stir in salsa and chilies; continue cooking 8-10 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned.
Stir occasionally so the mixture will not stick to bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with cheese.Â
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
