

Hamburger Steak and Gravy

Ingredients
1lb ground beef
3 teaspoons minced onion [or onion flakes]
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 small green pepper [chopped]
1 small onion [chopped]
Salt & pepper to taste
1 ½ teaspoon minced garlic
Preparation
Mix well and patty into three hamburger steaks. In an iron skillet melt 2 Tablespoons of butter. Brown the steaks quickly on both sides. Remove to rest.
Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet to sauté the following:
1 small sliced onion
1 small carton of mushrooms
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
 1 teaspoon parsley
Salt and & pepper to taste
½ Tablespoon flour
After sautéing, ADD:
1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
½ cup of beef broth or chicken broth

Bring to a low boil and turn the temperature to simmer. Add the hamburger steaks into the gravy and simmer until done (about 10 minutes)
