Cheeseburger Sliders
Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
1/3 cup finely diced onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground pepper
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup ketchup
3 tsp dill pickle relish
2 - 12-count packages of Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
8 oz. sliced cheddar cheese (10 slices)
4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1-2 tsp sesame seeds
Preparation
Over medium heat, heat a large skillet. Add the ground beef and onion. Cook until no longer pink.
Â
Remove from heat and stir in salt, garlic powder, pepper, mayonnaise, ketchup, and relish.
Â
Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Slice rolls or slider buns in half horizontally, if not presliced. Place the bottom halves of the buns on the baking sheet.
Â
Place the cheddar cheese slices evenly over the bottom buns. Spoon the ground beef mixture evenly over the cheese slices. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack cheese over the meat and place the top half of the buns onto the sliders.
Â
Melt the butter and brush over the top of the buns. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Â
Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese melts and sliders are warmed through. Slice into individual sliders and serve.
